Why not get a number of varieties since that would help pollination?

My feijoas in cool climate are still very young but they grow very well. Mine are in shade and sun. They can be clipped to a hedge and they are very pretty. I too would take several, but I think they prefer a temperate climate.

Can Feijoas be grown in pot?
May I ask if Feijoas can be grown and got to fruit in pot. I have seen White Sapotes kept small in pots and produce abundant fruits provided there is also a pollinating type. So I would like to know if it can also be done with Feijoas.
I now have a variety from Daleys called Unique which is supposed to be the smallest - about 2 1/2 metres so it might be the most suitable for pot. Thanks.

I also have Unique and it's now fruiting in its pot. However, it came with flowers so I'm not sure if it was pollinated while it was at the nursery and whether I would need to get another for future pollination.

White Gooses found in Springvale!
After all the looking around in Queensland for White Goose Feijoas I found that Garden World in Springvale, one of the closest nurseries to my home, has lots of them in stock.
Even Birdwood, as suggested, didn't know any place that sold their plants down here and they were right under my nose the whole time. Now I'm hoping that the White Goose and Unique variety may pollinate each other.

White Goose
I paid the same, but it is a good size grafted tree about 2 1/2 feet tall. I think that they all come from the same grower in Queensland due to the licence, so it would be unlikely that they could be bought anywhere else at a cheaper price.
