I'm keen on growing a Finger Lime but would like to know which would be the best variety to grow on the northside of Brisbane.

Hi Lyn,
Wild finger limes are native to our region, and breeders are based not far away (eg northern NSW), so any variety should grow well in Brisbane.
Good luck,
Diana.

Thanks Diana - but what colour are the wild finger limes - I thought they were all green until I checked on this site!
They seem to be red, black, yellow!!

Hi Lyn,
I think that genetic diversity in the wild ones means that you could get black, red, yellow etc, but they are mainly green (?), like budgies.
Diana.
