hi, I am looking for fruit trees that are suited for large pots in the perth area. Wich are going to be positioned in a slightly windy area.

Almost anything!!! I have a large variety of fruiting plants and trees which are doing well in pots and grow bags. I live in a semi-coastal area of Perth, so I do get a fair amount of wind. My fruit grown in containers include, various citrus, Shahtoot mulberries, blueberries, Chilean and strawberry guava, fejoia, avocado, lychee, pepino, Brazillian cherry, cape gooseberry, various lilly pillies, white sapote, grumichama, dwarf varieties of peach, citrus, pomegranate, apple, jaboticaba, grape, loquat and tamarillo. You can try plenty of others too...depends on what you like. As you can see, I like citurs, temperate and tropical fruit! You could also try things like figs, dragon fruit, jakfruit, babaco etc. For best results, just make sure you use a premium quality potting mixture, repot every couple of years, fertilise regularly (liquid fertilise, potash and Seasol are good each used alternatively every 2 weeks). Good luck!!!
