These are very pretty jabs at about 7yo - slow growing too Vs Grimal - has anybody got fruit yet? The debate is how long to fruit this and 10 to 15y has been offered?

10-15 years sounds terrible. My small-leaf jaboticaba took 6 years to fruit, and the large-leaf jaboticaba took 5 years. So maybe you won't have to wait too long with the giant variety.

Edward3 - my Coronata would have been in the first batch sold by Daleys - was gifted to me 5y ago and was probably 3 to 5yo then - it is a pretty slow grower but new flushes are very pretty as long as leaf curlers don't get to them

I didn't realize your plant was in a pot. Mine are in the ground and grew to about 2 metres before fruiting for the first time. Maybe that makes a difference.

I bought one " Giant Jaboticaba", and was shocked to hear "10 to 15y" before it bears fruits.
