Grapes dropping unripe (forum)

Hi,
We’ve just moved into a neglected house with a lovely old grapevine. It has a bumper crop of fruit but is starting to drop unripe fruit. I suspect it has a fungal problem as we have had so much rain, but it might also be a soil deficiency as our house was owned by a 97 year old and the garden hasn’t had any attention in some years. I’m hoping you can suggest what’s wrong and a fix. Thanks very much.

The vine looks reasonably ok, but it is hanging down on itself, not much air flow or ease to spray the grapes. Also a lot of plants underneath so less air flow. In pic 1 you can see some green grapes, some are like raisins. Look at the fallen grapes, are they dried like raisins or green with a soft ring at the stem end where they detatched. Yes it is most likely fungal problems, caused by rain and the lack of airflow. You should be able to find a spray to use based on the symptoms of the dropped berries.

Thanks very much I will try cutting some of it back to get in room for air flow and find the right spray.
