Logan berries are totally delicious. Like all the berry plants they profit with a cold snap when setting the flowers. Not sure about the extreme cold of the ACT but I have known areas with heavy frosts to have magnificent berry crops so I guess it's all OK.

so a hard frost is good for them? I live on a hill and it dosnt get that much frost up here
are they hard to grow or are they the sort of plant you can leave alone and will still grow fine?

ran, they do need a fair bit of maintenance, otherwise they will grow wild and produce little fruit. You have to prune them every year. Regular summer watering is important too.
In my area (hills outside Perth, cold winters) I gave up on boysenberries because the hot east winds came just as the fruit were ripening, and dried the berries . I never got to eat a sweet, ripe berry.

ran, you may not have hot east winds like we do in Perth, so it might not be a problem for you.
I just ignored the plants and they died from lack of water. I do know someone in my area who grows raspberries, so perhaps her garden is more sheltered.
You could try just one small plant to see how it goes.
