Indoor Avocado tree new leaves have brown coloring (forum)

I'm wondering why some of my new leaves on my avocado tree have brown coloration throughout the leaf. It's different than the leaf tip browning and then the whole leaf turning brown. Not all new leaves have this browning throughout, just new leaves on certain branches. There are some older leaves that also have this brown coloring throughout. I've attached some pictures to show a good new leaf, a new leaf with browning, an old leaf with browning. Please HELP!

Could be spider mites the pic is of spider mites on avos I had trouble with. Can you get a close up photo with your camera or observe with hand lense. I have found cheap microscope attachments for mobile phone cameras from e-bay are incredible for easy microscope images that can be uploaded with ease. White oil or nature soap work for spidermites.
