Hi,
Could anyone identify what is wrong with my citrus leaves. The wrinkly leaf is off my grapefruit tree. The leaf with the spots is from my Navel Orange. I have 6 different citrus trees and all of them have spots forming on the new foliage, the grapefruit is also but in addition to some its leaves being wrinkly. Any advice would be great.
Thanks.

Im guessing not enough water or drying out between watering.
Are there sap sucker insects on the growing tips?

No sap suckers, although there were some aphids a few weeks back that I took out with some Confidor. We have had quite a but of rain in Perth, so hopefully it isnt a water issue.

Web talk about wrinkly citrus leaves suggests a range of causes from a harmless genetic disorder to damage to the outer layers of the leaves by insects that have since moved on. Not much help I guess.

Thanks Xiem, not all leaves are distorted like that though.....
Looking at the other leaf, could that be fungal or do they look like puncture wounds from an insect ?

SteveH - my grapefruit get wrinkled leaves like that...I think it's a "idiosyncrasy" - as there has never been any pathogen on my tree to cause this (and none of my other citrus get that - except - my kaffir lime...)
They fruit and grow beautifully - so I wouldn't worry about it.
Could the little black smudges just be left over secretions from the aphids - does it rub off? The yellow dots could be puncture wounds.
All of the leaves look a lovely green healthy colour - so if that's the case (over whole tree) and there is no premature leaf drop - then it all is likely ok :)

Thanks Amanda, I gave it a spray of anti fungal just to be on the safe side, but you are probably right, the leaves are a nice green colour and the tree doesn't look stressed at all. Maybe I will just wait and see.

There are some flaws there. How could be possible for a leaf to be able to adapt on a certain atmosphere and all. It's not genetically possible.
