Hello everyone,
I have a few japanese maples that i have grown from seed and are doing well so far here in Brisbane. They are aound 2 years old now. I recently visited Templex Nursery here and found a Maple variety which was named acer nigrum. But i am sure it was the most seeked after bloodgood variety. It was well established and growing well in that nursery for quite some time now and was priced $150 which was a bit too much for me. So i am wondering if anyone here knows where to buy a smaller bloodgood variety here in Brisbane OR if someone can send me a cutting through post and i will try to graft it on one of my seedlings.
Cheers,
Manish

Didn't you ask this not long ago?
Why do you think the tree was mislabelled?

@Pauline, yeah i had posted this a while ago but got no responses then.
I thought the maple at the nursery was mislabelled Acer nigrum because after coming home that day i researched on Acer nigrum and the tree on display was nowhere close to any of the pictures i found on the net. I will try and get a photo of it when i go there again this weekend.
