Shaun starts with ...
Jostaberry is commonly described as a cross/hybrid between the blackcurrant and the gooseberry.
Has anyone seen Jostaberry on sale in any nursery in Australia?
Is this plant available in Perth / WA ?

I bought one from Bunnings this winter, here in Melbourne. It has more vigor than the blackcurrants and gooseberry planted next to it.

Thanks for all your responses.
I'll give Joe a call and drop in to visit Tass-1-Tree the next time I'm in Perth.
If it needs high chill, then it may not grow well in Perth.
I've got a Magnus Black Currant, and it has leaves, but many of its winter buds never burst into leaves shoots .... they remain dormant most times.

They are available in quite a few nurseries in Victoria including Diggers - we've had a lot of success growing them at a small farm about 500m above sea level and have some details about them on our blog here: http://icycreek.wordpress.com/about/jostaberries-at-icy-creek/

Bunnings @ Canning Vale?
I don't think I've been to that Bunnings .... is it the one across Albany Hwy from The Carousel Shopping Centre?
There is one near the corner of High Road & Leach Hwy in Willeton,
And one at Maddington ..... are these anywhere near Canning Vale?
Thanx :-)
