This looks an intriguing fruit.

Hello, Ive got one growing but hasn't fruited yet: http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/my/841/#6495
Fairly tropical tree, handsome, deciduous, so handles the winter fine. Wouldn't be high on my list of fruit trees to grow though as there are better tasting fruits out there.

Thanks Rich.
We probably couldn't grow them down here in Melbourne in any case, but I'm always interested in fruits I've not heard of before.
Also interested to see that you can grow them in NSW. By the information on the Internet I'd thought they looked strictly tropical.
Glad to know they are not super-delicious, so we are not missing out on a treat!
If there *were* good tasting, no doubt Daleys would be offering them for sale anyway.
