We've been looking at the Daleys catalogue and have come across a Keriberry. Does anyone know if the Keriberry can be grown in Melbourne?

Hi Gardener, I'd say 'yes it can be grown in Melbourne'. Usually when Daleys says 'Frost Tolerance Medium', it means that if you put the plant in a good microclimate, such as near a lot of heat-retaining masonry, and far removed from potential frost-hollows, the plant will do well. The closer to the beach you live the better, because of the mild maritime influence.
Most Rubus species are cold-loving in any case, so my bet is that the Keriberry wouldn't be too upset by Melbourne winters.

I understand it has massive weed potential in Victoria - better check that out. There are lots of other bramble berries that are probably more suited down there.
