Hello
Just wondering if anyone has any tips on successfully growing kiwi fruit? I live near Canberra and have planted the three vines on the eastern side of my garden shed and they seem to be doing OK so far. Any advice appreciated
Thanks!

They look to be growing well. The only thing I can add is that they are really close together. In an ideal situation they should be spaced around 6 meters apart. They are a really rampant vine. I have a mixture if vines planted 3m apart and already it's turning into a jungle.

Oops mine are only a meter apart and unfortunately I placed the male one in the middle so I can't remove it easily.

I have just got two also - and I was told that the male vine is more rampant - but also more "sensitive"..? I chose a Bruno - as it way less chill hours needed of the Hayward (250 versus 800 - according to Annette McFarlane in her book..)
Chill hours doesn't mean frost - and I could be wrong - but non one has mentioned the need for an actual frost...
They are a cool to temperate plant tho...? AF suggests elevated sub tropical regions - maybe ok with a low chill variety...

Is there a 'name' attached to your vines M Nash..?
We could go from there..? Or are they no-name seedlings..?
