KJ Pinks (forum)

Does anyone know who sells KJ Pinks Custard Apple fruit tree in Australia? I am also after a variety of avocado trees.

Seems that Daleys is very low on stock these days. My local Bunnings has a fallout with Birdwood nursery so no more trees from them.
In addition, Perry's is a big rip off.

Any advice much appreciated.

Vanl,I am off to melb. for a few days next week and plan to call in on quite a few nurseries including a man who sells quite a few subtropicals, I will look out for one for you and let you know if I track one down.

Hi Phil,

I think anfic only deals with wholesalers and commercial fruitgrowers. I tried Birdwood years ago and also no luck. They refered me back to Bunnings for orders instead...

Got a chance to contact Balhanah today. They cannot order from other nurseries as they don't want to be liable for trees from other nnurseries.

vanl, sorry to report no Pink s custard apples at CERES. They said they were just about to put in an order.I asked their supplier and they said Daleys.I will continue to keep an eye out for you ,please let us know if you source one yourself.

Sorry to dissappoint you guys but KJ Pinks is a PBR (plant breeders rights) variety of custard apple that you will not be able to buy retail - it is sold for commercial purposes only.

I heard that Bunnings is going to sell a retail version of KJ Pink under a different name. KJ Pink has 100% self-pollination. In fact, each node has multiple flowers and thinning is required.
