Hi there,
I have a lemonade tree that is currently covered in fruit. All the fruit are dark green, like a lime. When I have researched pictures, lemonade fruit seems to be yellow. Mine only go yellow when the have rotted and fallen off the tree.
When should I be picking the fruit? I have never grown citrus before so am unsure as to when these are ripe for picking.
Thanks in advance.

G'day Alaja,
I pick mine when they are dark green, very nice, very sweet.
Like you, I've tried letting them go yellow, but they get stung, rot etc.
Try a couple now, you may be surprised.

Mine go yellow while still on the tree, that is when I eat them. I would maybe try one while they are still green if they are falling off.

Thanks for the advice Brendan and Pauline.
I'll try them while they are still green as the only yellow ones I have are rotting on the ground.
