Lemons al year round (forum)

Has anyone any thoughts on maintaining a constant crop of lemons in Sydney? I have successfully espaliered an existing "Godnose" and a new grafted Eureka both doing well but would like to add one or two more espaliered varieties that would do well on a north facing Sydney bank. Any advice on companions and ground covers would also be of interest Cheers M

Probably best not to use ground covers as citrus have very shallow roots and resent any competition.

Hey Martin ... we only have a meyer lemon which fruits a couple of times a year which is more than enough for us here in Wollongong. The trick is to juicy any excess lemons in to icecube trays for times when its not fruiting. Works great!
