Thithi, whenever you order seeds from overseas, and it's a small package, just have the seller write your name and address on the package, without the contents labelled. This will dramatically improve your success rate.

I received a letter that told me my lotus seeds which I ordered fr a usa website were destroyed. Can't find aussie website that sell lotus seeds.? Why does USA sell everything, and I could not buy them?
I also want to buy Tiliacora Triandra (suong Sam) and this america website http://www.floraexotica.ca/Vegie.htm' has it but I could not buy it.
Can anyone help? I know most of people grow things as a hobby not for money, but I am more than happy to pay for any lotus seed or suong Sam because I don't think I have anything rare or hard to get to swap. The most exotic plants I have is la lot and la cam.

Thanks Mary, lotus is current not available and no price listed, probably it's too cold to sell lotus. I like pale face and angel wing lotus.

Thithi,
I went to Canley Vale Nursery in Sydney last time and found the Tiliacora Triandra there. If you have friends in Sydney, you can ask them to buy one and send it to you.

Canley Vale Nursery is a small family run business; the owners are friendly and obliging so I'm sure that if you call them they'll help you. 02 9723 2688. I'd help you but I live too far away and I do not have a car.
Do not visit their website which has been hi jacked by a website design company. The matter is in the hands of Dept. Fair Trading.

Lotus is permitted to be imported and does not pose a weed or disease risk.If it wasn't a packing or labeling issue it may have been recreational seizing by DAFF. Unless of course the species of Nelumbo was the American Yellow.Red especially red dwarfs are rare and most seeds purchased turn out to be just plain pinks.
