Hi I am trying to get hold of a Maroochy Macadamia cultivar. This is an older variety of Macadamia tetraphylla. It has a smaller kernel higher in sugar and good for drying or eating fresh. As it is of the tetraphylla species its also more cold tolerant. If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

You may have to contact one of the State Primary Industry Departments, it is available in NZ to home growers but seems uncommon in Australia. Here is a photo of the new growth on the Maroochy cv.

I will do, Im mainly looking for an improved tetraphylla it doesnt have to be maroochy; colliston, flaxton, howard, sewell or stephenson would do. most seem to be hybrids and while more productive arent necessarily best for the home gardener.
