I am planning to get a Morienga Oleifera and plant it in a pot. I am just wondering if it will be suitable in pots and in Adelaide weather. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions you can give me.

Definitely suitable in pots. In the Tully council nursery we have had moringas self seed and fruit in forestry tubes before anyone got around to weeding them out. They slow down a little when they are planted out, but these are one of the most enthusiastic rainforest revegetation volunteers of all.
Conditions are perfect in that part of the nursery, with shadecloth over and automatic watering, ambient temperatures between about 10 (rarely) and 34 (also rarely) degrees and probably close to 100% humidity. I have taken one out and put it in full sun and good soil in the dry season and it didn't really look back. Another, in poorer, drier soil sat and did nothing for a year before it took off.
In Adelaide the air is drier, so you might need to plan some shelter from wind, but as long as it is in a humid position it will do well. In a pot in the corner of the verandah with good sun exposure you will have lots of embarrassingly smelly fruit in no time.

I got a tube seedling before xmas and have repotted twice since then - faster when its really hot Vs when its cool - may have to sunroom over winter by the looks of its growth so far? PS - I am growing in Melbourne East Suburbs so should be equally ok in Adelaide.

I plant mine from seed last November, they grow very fast in the pot. I live in Adelaide. They will drop the leave in winter but will regrow in spring.

Thanks Lan, it's certainly encouraging to know that it can be grown in a pot and in our Adelaide weather.
