Moved a monstera (forum)

Hey, I was given a monstera that was going to be thrown away. It had fruited so I assume it was doing pretty well. I put it in a semi shady place, adjacent to my fernery. I am just wondering if I need to do anything to help it adjust. It is looking a bit floppy. Will the existing leaves just die off and new ones shoot in their place?
Thanks,
Jacqui

Hello Jacqui
I would lay it down and get those roots in the ground, make sure it well watered in and kept moist. You can pretty well bury that whole stem just leaving the top of it exposed.

They like plenty of moisture, the best success I've had is one feeding off the sink water

Thanks Wayne. I must admit I am a novice, and the root was at a really weird angle (underneath the ground there is a large root that goes out at right angles). I will replant it tomorrow! Thanks!!!
