i have had a smallish a purple for a while now,it looks healthy enough but being tropical doesnt grow to much,
not sure what type of micro climate i sould be providing it,
it has also produced a small amount of flowers from time to time.
you can have some scion if you have
suitable rootstock.

I've got an unknown variety sugar apple--do you reckon this would do? It has never produced fruit that are any good but survives ok, might be decent enough for rootstock?

Red and purple sugar apples are no better than greens for the most part unless it is a kampong. They are not uncommon around the fruit growing 'traps'.
Oxheart in the title might refer to A.reticulata the bullocks heart which the rest of the world calls custard apple.Sternus do you mean A,squamosa?

Yeah, Kampong/sweetsop. I figure it has to be around the traps somewhere.
In the face of great public consensus I've decided it is time to re-examine my opinion and perception of annona. Also my other half is nuts for them.
