Last year papaws didnt ripen. I dont want this to happen again. Somebody please help as I am complete novice.

Last year was a dreadful season for paw paws or papayas around Brisbane. I have had correspondence with a friend from Wacol in Brisbane who has been growing paw paws for years and all his died due to adverse weather.
