PassionFruit Disease Help (forum)

Until recently my passion fruit vine was very healthy and produced a plethora of fruit. This season the passionfruit have developed hard spots which are raised up in the centre. The spots consist of an outer dark ring with a pimple like bump in its centre. I am struggling to work out what it is. As far as I can tell the spots resemble passionfruit Scab but I am no expert on these things.
This problem has only started this season and last season I had a rat problem in the vine. Could the 2 be related?
Can anyone identify the problem and define the solution?

Hi CounterMike,
Yep, looks like Passionfruit Scab to me.
Check out this link: http://www.annettemcfarlane.com/diseaseID.htm
The copper spray is: 30g copperoxy chloride, 4.5 litres water & a 'good' wetting agent like Spreadmax.
Spray the vine once a week for 3 to 4 weeks 'till it's gone. The wetting agent is the key.
I'd give the vine a small amount of boron too.
