Hi Relly, try mixing 30g copper-oxy-chloride, 30ml pyrethrin, 60ml 'good' wetting agent in 4.5litres water and spray the vine weekly for 4 weeks, then spray monthly, that should fix it. If you find the vine is not being wet properly, add more wetting agent.

Also Relly, give your passionfruit vine some Sulphate of Potash, that will make the vine grow stronger and help it to bear. Remember passionfruit don't like too much Nitrogen or too much water.

i have a passion fruit tree that has some sort of bug eating the whole leaf or more than 1 leaf and only leaves the centre vein. We have treated with white oil and confidor. we cannot find any traces of the bug but we think that it only comes out at night

hey andrea and russ - I'm not sure as I don't use it - but I didn't think u could use confidor on fruiting/edible plants? I wouldn't be eating the fruit anytime soon?!

Is it doing enuf' damage to warrant intervention? You could be getting a free pruning service in time for spring!!
