Passionfruit (forum)

Tink starts with ...
Hi, I have a problem with my passionfruit vine also. It's lovely and bushy and has grown incredibly well, but I can't seem to get any flowers let alone fruit. I've tried hitting it with Dynamic lifter fertilizer, and have also tried "Potash" but with no results. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Tink, looks like it's getting too much Nitrogen (N) and water. I wouldn't give it any more Dynamic Lifter. Try some Phosphorus (P) and more Potassium (K). For a quick flower boost, spray weekly with a WEAK solution of Condys Crystals, (Potassium Permanganate), and a wetting agent. Passionfruit don't like too much water. Hope this helps.

Hi all !!!
Thanks for the help... just this morning I noticed the passionfruit vine on the lower trellis (in the pic) has begun to flower!!!! Lets hope the higher one starts soon also.

Have cut down the watering this week and canned the dynamic lifter. Will try the condy's crystals!
