peter starts with ...
can anybody identify what these small white blobs are on my pawpaws.
indoor plants are really healthy.
there are no visible insects during the day apart from the odd ant.
these blobs are not stuck to the surface of the plant, if carefull i can
move them around.
if not carefull they squash and dissapear.
they have a really thin outer skin with moisture inside.
if i brush or blow them away they will
be back in about a week.
outdoor plants have them also but not as many.
could they be juvenile ant eggs being placed there at night.
all pawpaws pictured arrived at the same size, note difference in growth
rate between indoor and out, drum placed beside them for scaling is a 44
gal.
also pictured are some espalliered mullberries, white, black english,
white shatoot.

these things are not alive.
they are the size of pin heads.
they do seem like small eggs but may
not be.
