I have 2 Pink Lady, dwarf stock, both 5 years old. Each year, both trees carry lots of flowers but fail to fruit. No bees come anywhere near the blossoms.Am about to plant a dwarf Granny Smith. My question is "Is this going to make the difference and allow my trees to finally fruit?"

Pink lady needs a pollinator, other than another pink lady.
There are very few apples that are self pollinating, Braeburn being one. Granny smith in my experience is partially self-fertile.

Granny Smith should be a good pollinator for your PL. If you don't have the room for another tree you can easily graft on a couple of pieces of Crab Apple, they produce a large amount of pollen over an extended period and are great pollinators for most apple trees.
