Adding fertilizers on a daily basis to a newly planted tree will end in disappointment, guaranteed. Adding fertilizers while the tree is in flower can induce the tree to abort all it's flowers.
I see your contribution is in quote form, are you making a statement? did you source this from somewhere else? or is this your own observation?
