Plum Tree (forum)

I have purchased a plum tree and the tag doesn't give the variety - it just says:-

"8-1 Pollinator".....and on the back it says "large fruit with red to blood red juicy flesh. Sweet & Juicy", also the rootstock is Coastal Peach stock.

Does anybody have any more information for me?

Also, any tips for looking after my Plum tree?

Hi D,

I am not sure about this one but if it is a Japanese blood plum then the varities that may pollinate it are the Mariposa Plum and the Satsuma Plum

Again I am just guessing.
