Potted Goji- multiple trunks OK? (forum)

I'm growing Goji berry bushes in big 60cm pots (3 plants total). They are almost 2 years old, and vary between 1 metre high and 2 metres high, with occasional branches coming off each trunk (see photos). Basically each pot has about 3 main trunks; is this bad? Will it yield less fruit, having multiple trunks? I have read that it's good to only have 1 trunk, but I'm worried that if I get rid of the other 2 the plant might suffer. They look very healthy and have sprouted leaves all over now that it's spring. I've recently done a big prune and pruned back a lot of the suckers and root sprouts... should I get rid of the extra trunks? Anyway I'd really appreciate some advice!
Thanks :)

I would've thought that more trunks would mean more fruit.... I suggest leaving them alone, maybe trimming the branches back when they get too tall.

Yeah that makes sense doesn't it? I thought that as long as I keep the soil good, it should get plenty of nutrient to all the branches...
Thanks for the advice Nick.
Any other opinions?

For a two year plant it should have much more branches and leaves when planted on the ground. To control the height I pruned them during winter when they dropped their leaves. It quite a hardy plant.

Mine is similar age to yours, goji_yum and in a pot but mine does not narrow down as much so I guess there's more soil in it than yours, It started out with several shoots, long and straggly so I plaited them to make them more upright but it shot more from the bottom. In the last few weeks it decided to take off (see pic) but the growth is still long and straggly; guess that's the way it is.
