I bought some (supposed) prunus mume Ume Japanese Apricots seedlings on Ebay. It is definitely Prunus Mume by the look of the leaves. Now in second winter near Kiama in the Illawarra.
Vigorous growth on all three plants but they have never looked like losing their leaves. My persimmon lost it's leaves, the frangipani too.
Can it be possible to have an evergreen Prunus Mume? I am after the flowers and the fruit, even though the fruit may be much later on. Largest tree is 2 metres tall. Thanks!

That. Sure looks like prunus mume
It's not unusual for seedlings not to lose leaves if it's not so cold
It helps their survival
Probably next season it will
