Does any body know of a source for
Rowan (Sorbus aucuparia) trees or seeds in Australia? Have found commercial sources for several related species but not this one, although I know it is in the country as evidenced by its planting out by various Scottish societies.

I bought a plant from a couple near Daylesford. I think they still have seedling trees if you want their contact details.

OK it's Adrian & Marilyn at Glenlyon. I bought a rowan from them at the Glowinski garden open day. They have lots of rare and subtropical stuff as well. You'll need to phone them to make sure they're home to show you through the glasshouses. 5348 7532

Well done - you'll love what they're growing in the greenhouses there. Go to the ATM on the way.

Am wondering if any rowan would be edible or just a particular one? There are a few around and they seem to be doing a good job of keeping witches away, as I haven't seen any of those.
