I have wondered about self fertile Kiwis, my female has stamens (pollen enthers)I wonder how much self incompatability comes in to it or is the pollen dead on Australian female plants

Jenny and Solo are actinidia deliciosa . They are widespread in Europe but no sign of them here. By all accounts they are more reliable than the hardy 'Issai.'

There is another self-fertile arguta (hardy) called Kokuwa.
I am told that it pollinises Issai and vice-versa. Imagine that, two fruiting kiwi vines that pollinise each other...

Wondering if all the Issai plants fro around Australia are the one clone cuttings are derived from as would be interesting to see if say a seedling from Issai would help to Pollinate it?
