Shartoot mulberry (forum)

Priscilla starts with ...
I read on the internet that someone had planted their shartoot mulberry tree espalier against a fence. my fence is west facing and wondering if this is possible?

Yes, I have seen pictures on the net of one before - do a google image search and see for yourself - I forget the name of the site, but it was an australian site.
