You'll need to gather and destroy the adult bugs when they cluster or pick off individual insects by hand. Spraying the tree in winter with soft soap will destroy the nymphs which do most of the damage. They are an Australian native species so there are natural predators such as assassin bugs, and they are also destroyed by extremely hot or cold weather.

Does anyone know where in the USA one can order muscadine (Vitis rotundifolia) seeds ??. I have one pretty miserable plant but have seen photos of terriffic - looking black grapes that are disease resistant in our humid climate.
