Stink bugs (forum)

Lucio starts with ...
Stink bugs ... all over our lemon tree. Tried a pyrethrum spray but not effective. Waste of time and money. Ended up following advice from Daley’s ( posted back in 2011) to use an old vacuum cleaner. Worked great. I used a cheap wet/dry vacuum cleaner (cost $89 from bunnings). Poured boiling water over insects
To kill them quickly.
Has anyone found other effective treatment?
I have read about a home made spray...neem oil 10ml / lux soap flakes.5ml per Ltr of water

That's great to hear. Neem or any pest oil would get any that reappear but you likely need to reapply. 70%metho solution will also kill them, but be sure not to spray in eyes or lungs.
