Tangelo distress (forum)

My tangelo tree is showing signs of being in distress - deficient, unhappy and grumpy. I have looked at a number of websites that have pictures of nutrient deficiencies and can't seem to make my mind up which one it might be. A Hamlin orange next to it and the Meyer lemon a couple of metres away are happy as larry. Does anyone have any ideas?

Looks like it has scale and powdery mildew...Eco oil should help.
Try and prune it for decent airflow and make sure their are no ants in the tree. Maybe it's getting too much shade or damp also?
Get it healthy with a good feed of manure and some Dynamic lifter or such...healthy trees are much less susceptible to pests :)
It is not any deficiency pattern, that I can see...

Thanks Amanda, i will look into the scale and mildew remedy, you could be spot on with the dampness - i had a good look at the soil about half a metre from the tree and its very soggy. Another metre away and its friable and well drained... I have been applying manure & chook pellets regularly so was perplexed when it continue to decline - even thinking that maybe i have over done the manure! Cheers
