Temperate stone fruit trees (forum)

Hi All,

I am after the names of robust stone fruit varieties which forum participants have found to be flavorsome and high yielding. I have 18 stone fruit trees on a small holding near Dunsborough (WA), but only 6 or 7 have fruit with good flavor and yield. Specifically these are Sun Snow nectarine, Tropic Snow peach, Fireball apricot, Trevatt apricot, a three way grafted plum including Maraposa and Flavor Supreme, Fragar peach and Fairlane nectarine. I have selected varieties to stagger cropping between mid October to April but have gaps in production before November, in late December and after early February. The other trees are either young, slow to establish or suffering from dieback(?)so I don't yet know how successful they will be.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Waterfall says...
We have found the Spicezee nectarine x plum to be a very reliable cropper with very nice falvour as long as you don't get excessive rain before harvest (January).
