I am hoping some knowledgeable person might be able to identify the tree in the attached images. Despite exhaustive searches its identity remains a mystery.
Many thanks,
Geoff.

I have an elephant apple tree over 8 years old- bearing well-I can't find any recipes to use the fruit. The fruit is astringent- but no nasty after-taste. There are mentions of it being used as a drink, a jelly or in curries....but how?
