what citrus is this ? (forum)

Ross starts with ...
hello,

I'm looking to help me identify this citrus tree.
I initially thought it was diseased, perhaps someone can tell.
It's in a large pot, the soil PH is neutral.
The fruit never really gets any larger than your thumbnail.

any advice would be great :)

Brain says...
it is going to be either Variegated Kumquat or Variegated calamondin. Can't be exactly sure unless you have better pics of the fruit at maturity.

Anyway, both fruits should be bigger than a thumbnail, you may (and i stress may) need more sun/ fertiliser.

Yes, the leaves are like that.

But you do have sooty mould.
