White shahtoot espalier (forum)

Hi,
I bought white shahtoot from Daley's about 6-8 months ago. It is currently in a pot. Just wondering if I can grow it espalier along the west facing fence.
Also planning to put the dwarf red shahtoot next to it, 2-3 meters apart.
I live in Melbourne south-east, less than 2 KMs (as crow flies) from the shore.

I have the White variety facing sun all day (8+ hours) with no issues. Didn't do much 1st year but has really picked up growth in 2nd year.
