My tree is 11 years old. It first fruited in year 7. I give the fruit a rating of only 5/10 because it does not have much flesh and the flavour is just OK. However, if you give it plenty of water you might get better fruit. The black jaboticaba, both small leaf and large leaf, is a much tastier fruit.
