We adore our Lowanna Strawberries. Big, bright, sweet, juicy, bountiful. Amazing. Highly recomend!
Strawberry - Lowanna
I chose Lowanna for being day neutral and strong disease resistance, and it's suitability to the climate here. New beds were prepared months ago with aged leaf compost, aged garden compost, coir peat, blood and bone, and a fruit and flower fert.

So far, so good. Still sitting and waiting for warmer weather. Very cold in Orange.
Strawberry - Lowanna
My 4 plants arrived very healthy 8 months ago. Early on they got hit by a beetle and I lost one but since then they have thrived. The fruit is great and the plants keep multiplying. I have given 5 new plants to a friend who was impressed by their vigour.

Heirloom variety from Diggers Club. Lovely sweet strawberry. Not as fragrant as the Cambridge Rival and smaller. But worth it all the same.
