The Nagasakiwase often has 2 crops a year in the subtropics. The first crop in April / May then again in August. We have found by cincturing in summer, the August crop has a much larger crop and better fruit size.

Jicama, Yam Bean

It is good to add to a salad, crunchy and sweet. Buy a packet of seeds from the asian grocery shop and plant them, grows nicely in QLD. A vital ingredient in malaysian spring roll.
