Dwarf Apple - Dorsett Golden
Has done really well in Sydney. I cut the flowers off the first year but let it go the second and got quite a bit of fruit. Unfortunately they did get his by fruit fly so I ate them a bit earlier but they still tasted good.

I love apples, but I'm sick of the tasteless ones sold in supermarkets, so three trees should keep us going for hopefully nearly six months of the year. Bought from Daleys and planted mid Nov 2017 (Gold Coast) in a garden bed next to a dwarf t...
BRAY PARK, QLD, Australia
Espaliered with tropic sweet. Have not tasted the fruit yet. Seems to ripen later than tropic sweet. Bag the fruit to protect from fruit fly.

ELLEN GROVE, QLD, Australia
No fruit yet, I am training it over an archway so this may be making the fruiting take longer?

Review for Sundowner Apple. Double grafted dwarf apple tree. That double graft is rather gnarly looking but it seems to be doing a good job restricting its growth. It has managed to flower and fruit with the aid of my granny smith tree. I picked off al...

Produces lots of fruit, have to be vigilant with bagging the fruit though.

Growing very well. Fairly quick growing even though is a dwarf. Actually fruited in winter this year - I pruned it in late summer as recommended by a friend which resulted in winter fruiting. I didnt let it fruit in last summer as I thought its branche...
Mooloolaba, QLD, Australia
Planted back in 2008 with an 'Anna'. Anna did not survive the winter but Dorsett continued on and produced 16 apples dispite not having an official pollinator. May have been another apple in the area though I do doubt it. Anyway, nice dense, cris...
CROWS NEST, QLD, AUSTRALIA
This tree seems to be doing really well and has appreciated all the mulch and compost.
FORESTVILLE, NSW, Australia
Even though it had not lost all its leaves over winter the new shoots are sprouting. Also are growing the pollinating tree.
