An excellent garden variety similar to K7 in growth, with a less dense habit. When grown in acidic soil this characteristic will transfer to a sweet and tart flavor in the beans. Blue Mountain Kenya matures a little earlier than K7 and does not crop as heavily because of its more open branching.Both varieties have bronze colored new tip growth which becomes green as the leaves mature.
