Customer Tips & Reviews Cashew Nut Tree
NORTH WANGARATTA, VIC
Cashew Nut Tree
Situated in my shadehouse at the moment and is flourishing with new growth. Will have to pot on to a bigger pot soon. I have a tropical style garden so it should be okay in the right spot. We are currently eating the mangoes that we produced this year in North East Victoria. We chose this plant because it was unusual and a challenge to grow it.
Cashew Nut Tree
Bought two. One in ground died after a mild Brisbane winter. The one in a pot kept in shade house survived.

Be careful when handling the fruit as it will stain hands and clothing. The fruit is very delicious to eat.

Pour some starch on the nut before you pick it off the tree and it has a more salty taste
