It looks great! Could you pls post a photo of the fruit? Does it look like the picture on Daleys? Their description of the fruit looks nothing like the fruits in the picture.

Question: The first flower of the year in Spring is always a female flower but no male flowers to pollinate it.  All the other flowers that come a few days later are male flowers so I never get any fruit as by that stage my one female flower has died.   Is there anything I can do to increase the female to male flower ratio come next Spring?

Question: I live in Brisbane - have great success with many other tropical/sub tropical plants but this one has never flowered/fruited even though it grows quite prolifically! I'm in the process of repotting it and will post pictures in the coming days when it's done. I'm also moving it to a slightly brighter position as I'm wondering if it's not getting enough light perhaps? Has anyone else encountered this problem??

I've been trying to add this Jaboticaba Tree to my page but for some reason it isn't allowing me to add it. I've had itfor a few years now but need to change it's position due to other trees shading it out. Still no fruit either.

My seedling abiu is about 5 years old and 2m by 2m. For the past three years it has flowered. Every year the flowers fall off without producing fruit. It seems that these trees really need cross pollination.

Dwarf Mulberry - Black 10/10

Staceyjoans's Edible Fruits
Update: 818 days 15hrs

10/10 for rapid growth and surviving my nice and nephews... Planted this in September 2020 as a tiny Bunnings plant and by the start of Winter 2021, its about 7 foot tall! looking forward to it fruiting.

10.08.2022: This tree fruited 3 times in its first season. The 1st fruit was dissapointing as so tiny and I was contemplating taking it out. Im glad I waited as it fruited 2 more times and the berries were large and luscious. Now sitting pretty at around 12 feet. Beautiful uniform shape and its autumn leaves provide great garden mulch - VERY worthwhile tree for small gardens.

Fast grower, the only problem I've had is with scale.
Stephen9 says... [1003 days 5hrs ago]
Hi mate - if you have spare scion woods, can you pls let me know so I can try grafting to my white sapote seedling tree? I am happy to pay for them and perhaps go for a drive down to the South Coast one weekend to collect
Chad1 says... [878 days 4hrs ago]
Sorry I just saw your comment. If you still need some let me know and forget about paying
Stephen9 says... [719 days 8hrs ago]
Hi Chad1, sorry I don't use this Daley forum website often and just came across your response. Thanks mate for the offer, but it is not urgent and I will try to source some other varieties white sapote scions to graft onto my seedling tree project sometime in the near future. Same, we are based in the same state NSW and so if you are after a particular scion(s) I may have spare, let me know and I can try to assist

Small Leaf Tamarind 8/10

Sayadr's Edible Fruits
Update: 1001 days 7hrs

Comments: - Attractive endangered native fruiting tree.  Took a few years to become established with frost protection and regular watering.  Survived years of harsh drought with minimal watering.  First time it has fruited since planting about 7 years ago.
