CONDITIONS: Suited to fertile loam or clay soils in full sun in frost free sub/tropical climates. Trees grow taller in warmer climates.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Feed soil with rich organic compost and mulch well. Feed young trees monthly during warm months with blood and bone or poultry manure. Plant two trees for improved pollination. Pick fruit when top 1/3 still green and allow to ripen in the fruit bowl for several days. This avoids fruit fly problems.
