Decorative deciduous Maple grown for foliage and flowers.
Features: New shoots are a purply maroon tone covered in a white bloom. Leaves have 5-7 pointed lobes. Spring brings long pendulous dark red flower tassels. Fast growing small tree.
Conditions: Will grow well in cool fertile soils in an open sunny site. Quite tolerant of partial shade.
For Best Results: Enrich soil with good organic compost and a thick mulch layer. Maintain soil moisture over dry periods by regular deep soaking.
